Callum Clark Biography

 

Callum Clark was born and educated in Bristol, UK and studied medicine at Cambridge University. He trained in Orthopaedics in London, including Charing Cross Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where he developed an interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery.

He spent a year on a travelling fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Sports injuries in Melbourne, Australia, and then returned to the UK, where he briefly worked as a locum Consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital before taking up the post of Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals.

He specialises in disorders of the Foot, Ankle and Knee. He has a busy NHS practice, which includes a large trauma workload (fractures and joint injuries). In the private sector he practices in the Windsor Foot and Ankle Clinic and the Sports Orthopaedic Spinal group.

He has an active interest in research, and his special interests are arthroscopic techniques, ankle problems, flatfoot disorder, plantar plate reconstruction and sports injuries. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Society (BOFAS), the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK), the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine (BASEM) and the British Medical Association (BMA).
