Keeping “up to date” with modern techniques and keeping abreast with popular opinion is very important for our surgeons, so that they may continue to offer state of the art treatment to our patients. Audit is also an important part of a surgeon’s practice, and both Mr Dega and Mr Clark attend regular local audit meetings, as well as regular National and International Meetings, Congresses and Symposia.

At any one time, there are usually several research projects underway in the Foot and Ankle Unit, run by Mr Dega and Mr Clark.
