“Trauma” refers to injuries to the body, specifically here fractures, dislocations and other joint injuries. Both Mr Dega and Mr Clark are trained Trauma surgeons regularly see and treat patients with traumatic injuries, including sports injuries, both in the NHS and the private sector. If you have suffered a traumatic injury and would like treatment at the clinic, please state the nature of your injury when you contact us, so that you may be seen promptly. We do not offer a 24 hour on call service (like the NHS) through the clinic, but care can subsequently be transferred from the NHS if you so wish.
The common injuries seen include:
Fractures of the clavicle (collar bone)
Shoulder, forearm and wrist fractures
Femoral neck fractures (hip)
Femoral fractures (thigh)
ACL and meniscal tears of the knee
Tibial plateau fractures (knee)
Tibial fractures (leg)
Ankle fractures / dislocations
Foot fractures
